Hey all! It's poll time!!
Just for fun, I had an idea: let's each post the sun signs in order of preference, #1 being your favorite and on down to #12 your LEAST fave. Preferential treatment of your own sun sign completely allowed, but fairness and personal experience/observation encouraged overall. (I wanted to post something like this on myspace, but really didn't want to piss anyone off.)
Here's mine, and this is in general, although I suppose I could tweak out two lists, one for friends and one for dating, but time time time:
1. Libra
2. Aquarius
3. Sagittarius
4. Leo
5. Capricorn
6. Aries
7. Gemini
8. Virgo
19. Pisces
10. Cancer
11. Scorpio
12. Taurus
A small explanation about the last four: while I mostly tend to have a hard time, plentiful frustrations and misunderstandings with the water signs, occaionally I meet a watery person who blows me away with being a caring/understanding individual, or someone with interesting insights into the world. Though predominantly I find Pisces to be unreliable, ditzy liars - Cancers bossy high-strung douchebags and Scorps to be sadistic failures who rely on strength of presence and interpersonal manipuation to deviously attain their goals...Tauruses might as well not exist in my world, they are generally just so blase to me that they barely deserve a mention. I don't even particularly dislike them. It's like when you walk down the street, and look, there's a rock on the pavement. That's a Taurus.

and ALL THE REST are in the *same* boat -- and I was really being generous by adding Sag & Libra in the ONLY 5 that I can stand to be around for any length of time, period, lol. I won't type out a long dissertation here, but trust me I know what works for me ;)

All members of the following signs considered!
Libra ---> fair, just, full of equality, social, attractive and ethical
Aquarius ---> mad-cap kinksters of the zodiac - far into the future, <whipcrack!>
Leo ---> loyal, very proud, if u just take a moment to compliment them, these attractive, wild-maned hunks can be all yours forever!
Scorpio ---> sneaky, sexy, totally ultra-paranoid! Guess what I heard about u? They will do anything u say, when u tell em that... try it!
Gemini ---> tricky, intellectual, slippery, ironic, mercurial, can be moody, but not for very long - always a challenge!
Sagittarius ---> sexy world travelers who often, but accidentally put their whole foot in their mouths, but they really don't mean to do it!
All members of the following signs AVOIDED!
Aries ---> selfish, loud, boorish, completely self-centered, "the world revolves around ME because I deserve it all!"
Pisces ---> confused, emotionally cloying and insipid guilt trippers. They never mean what they say for very long.
Cancer ---> clingy, bitchy and bossy "I'm depressed AGAIN for the year and if u want to see me, u have to come to my place!"
Capricorn ---> ultra-manipulative, ultra-competitive, completely humorless, jealous, controlling lumps of coal --> "...prove it to me!"
Virgo ---> moody, changeable, will this make me, my bed and my room DIRTY?" "Will this give me an infection?"
Taurus ---> what do I get out of it? (see Capricorn!)

Mon, March 3, 2008 - 9:00 PMDavid, you're so right about the Scorpio "Guess what I heard about you!" I cracked up when I read that...brought back some memories.
Stll my dear, you can have your Scorps (in the end, just can't do the drama) and I'll hold on to my Caps. I always have a soft spot for the sturdy, dignified and earthy Capricorn man. Aside from oftentimes being total whores in the bedroom (in a true blue, but down-n-dirty kind of way), I find them to be generous and interested, intelligent and refined conversationalists when they trust you enough to open themselves up. The only downside is that as we are both Cardinal signs, we can bump heads when we don't agree on how things should go...but I rarely dislike a Cap guy and tend to quickly develop crushes on them. Doesn't hurt that they tend to have fat wallets either! lol...The love of my life, thus far, was a Cap (with a lot of Aquarius in his chart), and the sea-goat is the one true exception to my masc-element sign only rule (when it comes to romance). -

Oh, right on! :)(: If your Scorpio is getting to be a little difficult to handle, just let it casually slip out ---> "GUESS WHAT I HEARD ABOUT U" and in one magical instant, u will have them eating out of your hand! Nothing brings a Scorpio down to their knees faster than throwing their paranoia right back at em..... and who doesn't like a powerful Scorpio down on their knees, eager to please, just to get the info they require! :)(: Drama can be so cathartic sometimes! :)(:
I have to admit that compiling my list was a lot of fun, although tossing around stereotypes and generalizations is not always fair, cuz there are so many intervening variables to consider.....(such as Ascendant, Moon, Mars, Venus, Mercury and the various aspects they make.)
I'm really impressed at your ability to defend, desire and even crave a craven Capricorn. (Although the one u are considering has significant amounts of Aquarius in his chart - perhaps stimulating your Aquarius Moon?)
Whenever I think of Capricorn, I envision a very cheap (both financially and emotionally,) miserly, sneaky, stubborn, manipulative, secretive, sullen, silent-treatment, back-stabbing, jealous, dull, barren and cold personality similar to Richard Nixon! Their motto seems to be "what's in it for me" and they never seem to take anything others say at face value, hence the famous Capricorn "PROVE IT TO ME" slogan. Yes, they are hard working goats, always pushing the boulder up the side of the mountain, but they never seem to think that anyone else ever works as hard as they do and they make these judgements based upon their insecurities and jealousies, rather than actual facts! :)(: Kind of like BLAME CANADA! :)(:
Getting a Capricorn to "open up" certainly requires one to have an inordinate amount of extreme patience or at least an analytical earth sign Ascendant like u have (if his SUN OR MOON TRINES YOUR ASCENDANT - I can certainly understand the <BOING> factor!) :)(: U will have to grant me a pardon, if I find the idea of being emotionally close to a Capricorn similar to having surgery without anesthesia! :)(:
